Frequently asked questions
General
What is MigFLIX?
MigFLIX is a media player and organizer. You connect the streaming sources you already have — a provider playlist, an Xtream Codes login, a single stream, or local video files — and MigFLIX turns them into a fast, modern Live TV, Movies, and Series experience.
Is MigFLIX a streaming service?
No. MigFLIX does not sell subscriptions, provide channels, or host movies and series. It's the app you use to organize and watch content from sources you connect yourself.
Does MigFLIX provide content?
No. All content comes from the source you connect — your own provider, playlist, or local files. MigFLIX is responsible for organizing and playing it well, not for supplying it.
Who is MigFLIX for?
Anyone who already has one or more streaming sources — an IPTV provider, a personal playlist, or local media — and wants a single, modern app to browse and watch them in.
Sources
What is a source?
A source is anything you connect to MigFLIX to watch — a provider login, a playlist link or file, a single stream, or a local video. Each source can bring its own Live TV, Movies, and Series.
What is a playlist?
A playlist is a specific kind of source — typically an M3U link or file — that lists out the channels or content a provider makes available.
Can I add multiple sources?
Yes. You can add more than one source and switch between them from inside MigFLIX.
How does switching sources work?
Pick a source from your list and MigFLIX switches your active library to it — its own Live TV, Movies, Series, favorites, and watch history.
Does MigFLIX merge my playlists?
No. Each source stays in its own space rather than being merged into one giant, mixed library. That's what makes source-switching useful instead of confusing.
Can I protect a source?
Where source protection is available, you can keep an individual source private so switching into it requires your password.
Compatibility
Does MigFLIX support M3U?
Yes. Paste an M3U playlist URL and MigFLIX builds your library from it.
Does MigFLIX support M3U8?
Yes, compatible M3U8/HLS sources are supported through the same playlist and single-stream pipelines.
Does MigFLIX support Xtream Codes?
Yes. Sign in with the server, username, and password your provider gave you, and MigFLIX organizes the full library it returns.
Can I add a single stream URL without a full playlist?
Yes. If you only have one stream, you can add it directly instead of building out an entire provider library first.
Can I import a local playlist file?
Yes. Compatible M3U/M3U8 playlist files stored on your device can be imported directly, without needing to host them anywhere.
Can I play a local video?
Yes. You can open a video already on your device without leaving MigFLIX or switching to another player.
Content
Can I watch Live TV?
Yes, when your source includes it. MigFLIX presents Live TV channels with search and category browsing.
Does MigFLIX support movies?
Yes, when your source includes a movie catalog. MigFLIX organizes it with artwork, categories, and search.
Does MigFLIX support series?
Yes, when your source includes series. MigFLIX organizes seasons and episodes and helps you move between them.
Playback
Can I resume a movie where I left off?
Yes. MigFLIX remembers your playback progress on supported movies and episodes.
Does Continue Watching work?
Yes. Titles you've started but not finished show up in Continue Watching so you can jump right back in.
Can I switch episodes without leaving the player?
Yes, an in-player episode selector lets you move between episodes directly.
Does MigFLIX support subtitles and audio tracks?
You can switch subtitle and audio tracks whenever your stream provides more than one option. MigFLIX can't create tracks that aren't present in the source.
Does MigFLIX support Picture-in-Picture?
On supported devices, yes — you can keep watching while you use another app.
Is there a sleep timer?
Yes. Set a timer and MigFLIX will stop playback for you automatically.
TV Guide
How does the TV Guide work?
When your source publishes program schedule data, MigFLIX turns it into a clean guide showing what's on now and what's coming up next.
Why doesn't my channel show guide information?
TV Guide data comes from your source. If a provider or channel doesn't publish schedule information, MigFLIX has nothing to display for it.
Downloads
Can I download a movie or episode?
Where a title supports it, yes — you can download it and watch offline later. Availability depends on whether your source allows the stream to be saved.
Why is Download unavailable for a title?
Some sources or individual streams don't allow content to be saved. When that's the case, MigFLIX won't offer a download for that title.
Privacy
Where is my watch history stored?
MigFLIX is built local-first — your library and viewing activity live on your device rather than depending on a cloud account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Are my provider credentials stored?
Provider details you enter are stored securely on your device so MigFLIX can reconnect you. See our Privacy Policy for exactly how source credentials are handled.
Do I need an account to use MigFLIX?
No account is required to start using MigFLIX. Optional account features, if offered, are always separate from basic playback.
Pricing
What can I use for free?
