Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the MigFLIX website (this site) and the MigFLIX application collect, how it's used, and the choices available to you. MigFLIX is a media player and organizer for streaming sources you connect yourself — it is not a content provider, and it does not sell or supply IPTV subscriptions.

This is a working draft prepared alongside the pre-launch website. It has not yet received final legal review and will be updated before MigFLIX launches publicly.

This marketing website collects only what's needed to operate the features you use directly:

• Waitlist: the email address you submit to join the waitlist, along with the time you joined and which page you joined from. Used only to notify you about MigFLIX's launch and related product updates.
• Contact form: the name (optional), email, category, and message you submit. Used only to respond to your request.

Both are stored in a database operated for MigFLIX and are not sold or shared with advertisers. You can ask us to remove your information at any time — see "Your choices and rights" below.

MigFLIX is built local-first: your connected sources, library, favorites, watch history, and playback progress are stored on your device so browsing and playback don't depend on a cloud account. No account is required to start using MigFLIX.

If MigFLIX offers optional account features, analytics, crash reporting, or payment processing for Premium subscriptions at launch, the specific third-party services used for each will be named here, with details on exactly what they receive. That information will be finalized and published in this policy before public launch — nothing beyond what's described in this document should be assumed today.

When you connect a source (for example, an Xtream Codes login or an M3U playlist URL), the details you provide are stored securely on your device so MigFLIX can reconnect you to it. MigFLIX does not use your provider credentials for any purpose other than connecting to the source you specified.

MigFLIX does not verify the legitimacy of any source you connect and is not responsible for the content, availability, or legality of third-party sources. See our Terms & Conditions for more.

We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with service providers that help us operate the waitlist, contact form, or (at launch) the app itself, and only to the extent needed to provide those services — or when required by law.

Waitlist and contact submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them or until they're no longer needed for the purpose they were collected for (for example, once MigFLIX has launched and the waitlist has served its purpose).

• You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time.
• You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@migflix.app.
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

MigFLIX and this website are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as MigFLIX develops, particularly around launch. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
