Mini Player vs. System Picture-in-Picture: What's the Difference?
Both keep a video floating while you do something else. They're not the same feature — here's exactly how they differ.
Both features shrink your video into a small floating window so you can keep watching while you do something else. The difference is where that window is allowed to go — and it's the difference between a Free and Premium feature in MigFLIX.
Mini player (Free and Premium)
The mini player keeps a small floating window inside MigFLIX. Shrink what you're watching and go browse Live TV, Movies, or Series in the same app — the video keeps playing in the corner. Step outside MigFLIX, though — switch to your home screen or another app — and the mini player doesn't follow.
System Picture-in-Picture (Premium)
System Picture-in-Picture uses your device's own PiP support to float the video over other apps entirely — outside MigFLIX, on your home screen, while you check messages or browse elsewhere. It's a Premium feature, available on supported devices.
Which one you're using
If the video is floating but you're still inside MigFLIX, that's the mini player. If it's floating over something else entirely — your home screen, another app — that's system Picture-in-Picture.
