Downloads Explained: What You Can (and Can't) Save Offline

Downloads sound simple until you ask which titles actually qualify. Here's what determines whether something can be saved.

Downloading a movie or episode for offline viewing seems like it should always be possible — but whether a specific title can be saved depends on more than just tapping a download button.

What has to be true for a download to work

  • You're on Premium — downloads aren't included on the Free plan.
  • The title is a movie or episode — live channels aren't fixed files, so there's nothing to save.
  • Your source allows the stream to be saved — some sources or individual streams block this outright.

Why a title can be unavailable to download

If Download isn't offered for a specific title, it's almost always because the source itself doesn't allow that particular stream to be saved — not a bug. MigFLIX can't override a restriction the source sets.

Managing what you've saved

Once something is downloaded, you can see what's still downloading, what's finished, and remove anything you no longer need — all from inside MigFLIX, without hunting through your device's file system.
