Continue Watching Explained: How Resume Playback Works
Stopping halfway through something and picking it back up later should be automatic. Here's what's actually happening behind that.
Continue Watching is the row of titles you've started but not finished — a shortcut back into exactly where you stopped, instead of hunting through menus or scrubbing to find your place again.
What makes it possible
As you watch a movie or episode, the player keeps track of how far you got. Come back later — minutes or days afterward — and it resumes from that point instead of the beginning. That progress is what populates Continue Watching in the first place.
Why it's scoped per source
Because each source in MigFLIX keeps its own library and history, Continue Watching reflects whatever source is currently active. Progress on a movie in your personal library won't show up while you're browsing a separate sports or family source — the same separation that keeps favorites and watch history from mixing between sources.
What it depends on
Resume works on supported movies and episodes. It's a playback feature, not a content feature — it depends on MigFLIX tracking your progress, not on anything the source itself needs to provide.
